Girls Cricket Program

Coached by Coach Raghu B & Coach Arvind

The Pathway: Preparing girls to play for the USA U19 Women's Team and professional leagues.

Minimum development time by age: 13 yrs: 3+ years  |  14 yrs: 2+ years  |  15 yrs: 1+ year  |  16 yrs: 1 year

Individual Role

• Every player develops as an all-rounder, with a primary skill in batting or bowling
• Option to specialize as a wicketkeeper batter
• Focus on the primary skill while building a strong secondary skill

Regular Weekday Coaching

• Twice a week: 90 minute sessions exclusively for girls
• Alternate option: 90 minute sessions with advanced boys (13+ years)
• One game every weekend (40 over format)
• Alternate weeks: back to back T20 games

High Performance Program

Batting, Bowling & Fielding

• Vertical and horizontal bat shots
• Line & length: developing the stock ball
• Variations: slower ball, arm ball, and more
• Catching consistency and throwing accuracy

Fitness

Endurance, speed & agility, flexibility, and muscle strength & power

Schedule

• Once a month: specific skill session
• Once a month: open nets for game awareness and fielding
• Duration: 3 hours

Tournaments & Tours

Domestic: LA Woodley Thanksgiving Tournament, Girls Open Tournaments, AMLC Tournaments

International: One overseas tournament per year. Destinations include India, Australia, Malaysia, Canada, and the UK.

Quarterly Progression Report

Every player receives a quarterly evaluation covering both practice and game performance.

Pricing: $350 per month plus a one-time KRCA fee

Includes facility charges, equipment, ground charges, and coaching.
